I just bought a Raptor shift light, and now i need some ideas on where to put it

I put mine in the drivers side window defroster hole. I have also scene them on top of the steering wheel down by the shaft housing. Here is mine.

on my 94 I had it on the steering column, will try to post pic tomorrow.
will put it in the same place in this 97 when i get around to that...

fastbird96---what shift light is that in the defroster vent? I had a big msd light in the first vent but would like to have something else.

nahh ill go take another pic of it when your sitting but its too the side and right in the middle of the tach...check back in an hour or so and ill post another pic

yeah really crappy pic couldnt find my good camera...but you can get the idea that the tach numbers flow around the shift light...you gotta get used to having a big @$$ light there though


and yeah sorry had to post this pic cuz i saw it yesterday at the autoshow

In my opinion, place it anywhere that it is going to shine in your face. Put it out of the way, and direct it toward your face where you don't have to look at it. Why have a shift light if you have to look at the tach away?

^^ That's why I put mine in the AC vent. Nice hiding spot, shines right in my face when it's on, and when it's off, it doesn't exist.

yeah i didnt pick the place of the light..came on the car like that would like to have a smaller one that one is almost too bright
