Roller Rockers
Well tonight we started the cam swap and we took off the valve covers it said 1.6. If im not mistaken I thought LT1's came with 1.5's and my car is internally bone stock.
No I got the car about a year ago. The car is SUPPOSED to be a bone stock internals with a"chip and flowmasters." The car didnt have flowmasters. I still dont know if it has a chip. Anyway the rockers were silver aluminum and had GM stamped on them and under that was 1.6. I dunno whats going on. Im sure its not an LT4 though.

Sounds like some one may have returned it to stock but did not have the stock rocker any more. What do the retainers look like? Are they a bright silver? If so you may have lucked out

No what I think happened is that Im the 3rd owner. The guy that had it before me dindt know anything about he just wanted a weekend car. But I think the original owner had the car camming with springs, lifters, rocker rollers and the cam, then when he went to sell it he took out the cam so it wouldnt kill the value. Would that make sense to yall?

DAMN!!! my guess is he might have gotten a true LT4 bottom end or like someone else said you got ahold of some goodies. Did you run #'s on the crank or what. If the crank is out, do the "ping test". Stand the crank up on end and tap a throw with a wrench, if it pings and rings loudly it's forged steel, if it pings and dies out quickly, it's cast.
