Where to put the Cats???

Where to put the Cats??? After looking at my ORY, there is no room on the driver's side to fit a cat with lines and such right up super close to the piping. On the passenger's side their is all the room in the world. Therefore I figured I would buy one cat and have it welded in right after the Y on the I pipe but I heard that it will restrict the car quite a bit. For some reason my pics arent uploading to photobucket otherwise I could show it better. So what do I do and what cats do I use to do it????

BTW: I responce to another post..I have no choice I have to have cats on there.
You can get away with the single cat but I need to do the dual cats for sure. The passenger side is easy but the driver's side is gonna be real tight and might have to move the fuel/brake lines.

To the Top; I still cant decide what to do. I hate to restrict the airflow greatly or run into problems with not having the cat heat up if I put it right after the Y. What do I do??? My dad is drilling me to find a solution and fast...

The y-pipe is 3" diameter and the cats are 4" so thats only 1/2" up and 1/2" down more than the ORY. The lines I bent without even disconnecting them just make sure you don't kink them.

Just from looking at your pictures, your driver's side portion of the y-pipe has an easy 1" more clearance than mine and I don't have a cat in there yet. So maybe you got an earlier version of their y-pipe that had more clearance or you bent it yourself but my y-pipe is actually just touching the torque arm. I like the way you have yours set up but I don't think I have room and he probably doesn't either. And I really didn't want to move the fuel lines. But I may just put in new lines to solve the problem.
