Does anyone here have a mad z28 tune on their lt1? For those of you who do, what kind of power gains did you see? I just got one at the same time as my 3.73 gear install and the results seem huge between the two. I dont have a way to judge the tune only since I had both done at the same time and was wondering what kind of power/et gains others may have recieved from the tune.

I just installed my MadZ28 tuned computer this past week. The car just pulls harder and it just seems to have quite a bit more power throughout the rpm range, its very nice. The trans also shifts so freaken hard and fast now its rediculous. It really put more of a fun factor back into the A4 for me. I'm sure the tune is good for a couple/few tenths in the quarter.

I had one in my nearly stock LT1 a few years ago and noticed an immediate difference. No more hesitation, car pulled much nicer through the whole RPM range, and I think my gas mileage improved a little too. Never dynoed or ran at the track sadly, but for my daily driving needs it was perfect. Good luck, my testimonial was on his website (94 black T/A)

I had my PCM tuned by Ion over the summer after my long tube install and it made a very noticable difference. The car runs about 30-35 degrees cooler, it has a noticable power increase, and the automatic tranny shifts more aggressively. Best 140 bucks I have spent in awhile.

I have to say that the trans shifts much harder and the engine does run much cooler now even with the stock stat. I took my brothers out in my TA after the gears and tune and they were amazed at how much harder it accelerated and shifted. I kind of wish that I would of waited a little bit after the gear change to do the madz28 tune just so I could feel the difference in power vs the stock tune.

i have and obd I conversion and tune from ion. at the time i had headers, underdrive pulley, 160 stat, 4.10 gears accel 300+ and duals. i put down 287 rwhp running really rich from an exhaust leak. fixed that and did the rest fo the boltons and the tune was still dead on 12.8 a/f across the board.

Ion managed to get 346hp outta my car through a mail order tune. I put down those number with open headers as well, with an x-pipe it should be a little higher. I doubt a dyno tune would get much more out of it.
