Default Is the car worth it? ***PICS

Bought the car, pics are up!!!

I'm looking at picking up a 94 m6 z28 with 52,000 orginal miles, interior looks brand new, orginal paint in amazing condition and no door dings. New Chrome Z06 wheels with Nitto 555s.
he is looking to get $7,500, The car runs perfect, brand new clutch and flywheel. ASP crank pulley, pro 5.0 shifter, hotchkis STB, EGT&vac gauges, MSD ign. box, Hotchkis lwr cntrl arms&panhard bar, airfoil, K&N filterchrgr. 4.10's, 160 therm. Hooker LT & Ypipe, slp clutch, slp 2OTL, pcmforless programming, carbonfiber driveshaft, crane gold 1.6rr, manley valve springs, titainium retainers, eibach prokit, KYB adjustable shocks and struts. 12.5@110.8
1.88 60foot

My question is, would this be a good deal? i really like the car and it is a beast for what mods it has. Would 7500 be good for me?

I'd try to talk him down a tad, look up NADA and see what it says. Hard for us to tell with out pics. Sounds clean, just gotta wonder how much he beat it up?

that sounds like a pretty good deal to me..... think of it this way.......
the car its self has 52k orig miles...... hard to find those under 6K
then the wheels and tires are another 1K easy
Then all of the extra parts will easily run you easily another 2K
headers and y pipe 600
catback 300
RR, springs, retainers, 500+
Prokit 2-300
MSD 100+
4.10's 400
Tune 200
LCA's, Panhard 300+
best of luck with ur decision

my only question is does it have a cam as well if he upgraded springs and RR's???
and I have heard bad things about those crane gold RR's i would switch those out

The cam is actually stock. I was thrown there for a minute too. I am seriously thinking about picking it up this weekend. There just isnt much in the area and i just lost a lot of money through a bad trade and to find a car this clean in the area is rare.

That doesn't sound too bad. And if you like the add-ons such as the wheels then it makes it a better deal. I bought my 96 SS in October for $6900 and it has 85K miles. But it's an A4 and the paint is nice but nowhere near show condition. I just dumped around $1200 into it doing longtube headers, y-pipe, motor mounts, wires, 17x11 rears and painted the wheels white. Basically, if the car has the options and performance you want and looks great, then it's worth it to you.

KBB is a better metric for private party sales than NADA.

And yes that does seem kind of high even in excellent condition.

Love to know where yall are buying your cars from...

I got mine w/ 68k on it for 7500. I mean, granted, mines a 97 and the one in question is a 94, but with those miles on it, I don't think it's a bad price.

Especially when the mods are all **** you'd probably do anyhow.

It seems to be a real good deal, especially if the mods have been done correctly. You're getting a car that runs 12.5 @ 111 with not even 60k miles!?! And it's clean. Offer him 7k, but I'd definitlely be willing to pay that for it.

I got my 13.9 @ 101 M6 '95 Z28 with 76k miles for 6k and it had a bad window motor.
It's a good deal, IMHO.

Window motors arent an issue as they are old school crank. I'll call it a weight saving mod along with the hard top

No talk him down. The car is 12 years old even though the mileage is low. I would rather buy a higher mileage LS1 car for that price. I dont know where you are located but in NJ where i am there are tons of F-Bods fom all price ranges and alot of them sit for awhile at that price
