Default Any one ever reuse their Opti?

Looking to do heads and cam, trying to get every thing sorted out as possible. One of the issues is my opti, its about 4 years old, has under 20K miles on it. It works fine, no problems what so ever and the cars runs great. I can only imagine that it is doing its job. I have been told I should be able to reuse it since it works and has low miles, I was thinking about reusing and just changing the cap and rotor to a new MSD be on the safe side, any thoughts on this? It svaes me some money over buying a new opti that I would rather put towards new hoses and a radiatior.

Re-use it. Should be fine with that low of miles.

Awesome, would be a wise move to swap in a new cap and rotor?

Leave it alone and re-use it. Opti's are picky..if it works, then leave it be!

I'va got a MSD cap/rotor new if you need one, I've seen a taxi with 275k with the original optispark he just replaces the cap and rotor.

I think in the last 2 years I have put maybe 2.5K miles on the car to a grand total of 68K, I got a killer deal on a set of MTI LT1 Heads so I figure might as well tear in to it, it isnt my daily driver any more so down time in not relavent.
