Well that sucks. The only reason I was thinking about getting one was to save some pounds. In the drag race forum it says that a fiberglass hood saves 30. If that was the case I would get one, but 400+ dallars to save 16lb is not worth it. I think I might get some some areospace brakes for up front for a little more money than the hood, and drop 35lb from the car.

Pin on VFN 4" cowl is about 12 pounds before paint.

Glasstek also makes a pin on. I'm sure it's lighter than the version that uses the stock latch and hinges.
