SLP LineLock Questions about Install.
I got a LL for christmas and havent attempted to put it on. Just wondering if anybody has a good write up about it or maybe just some good tips?
Bleeding Brakes?
Mounting Lines?
Mounting Toggle Switch?
I read the instructions but they seem a little blunt.

I did the SJM linelock ABS delete which is more engrossed than the SLP linelock since I had to remove the modulator. From what I have seen the SLP is pretty easy compared to the SJM delete. I would first take a syringe and suck out as much fluid as possible (or use an extractor if you have one, something like a Pela). Then you'll have to use brake fitting wrenches (I forgot what they're called). They're just boxed with one small slit for the brake line to go through, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. The lines look to be all preformed so it should be easy to tell which to remove. The fun part is mounting the solenoid. I marked the spots with the solenoid in place and then predrilled the holes and used sheetmetal screws. If you have any questions just PM me or post again and I'll try to help you out.
mount the switch where its convient for you(mines in the ashtray) run the wire out to the engine compartment. hook the lines loosely to the soliend, connect to master and abs block(it should be marked front) bleed brakes and verify no leaks. also make sure the power and ground are on the correct terminals . push brake down set switch make sure front wheels dont move. turn of switch wheels move again . pretty easy stuff once ya get in there
(I made this post, then realized it was in the LT1/LT4 section, my bad)
I mounted mine switch in the dashboard using a factory fog switch. I got a used one, had a buddy of mine to splice the wires together, and then mounted it there. When activate, the light comes on, when unactivated, it just looks like a factory switch. We couldn't figure out how to get the fog light indicator to light up when not in use.
Here's the pics:

P.S. I'm an electrical idiot, so words of advice if anyone else tries to do this. DON'T use the lights or fog lights as a power source, it doesn't work too well. If your familiar with electrical you'll know what I mean. A different friend of mine set it up this way, but luckily we realized what had happened before the car was started.
