Ok guys i am starting on my next project. But i really don't know much about lt-1's so that's why am here. It's a 1955 chevy 2 door post. I have a 97 lt-1 auto. out of a camaro in the garage. It only has 29k miles on it. My question is i want around 400 to 500hp want do i need in order to get these kind of numbers?

 

You could do Heads/Cam. You could have it forged and do a stroker and some N20.

 

Well after reading up on some of past posts here. I am thinking about just port/polish heads and intake maybe by l.Elliott? What kind of price does he charge? I have no idea what cam or how am going to get it tuned as there is nobody close by that does custom tuning! What kind of stall should i go with and gears for a 12 bolt?

 

if it going to be a crusier, go turbo, trust me, that car will so easy to do and you can make 600-700 rwhp on a mild set-up and pump gas!

 

Which turbo company would you suggest?

 

For your set up its going to have to be custom built, a 355 LT1 with a LE3 package and some gas would make over 500rwhp +
