Default Who else here loves Magnaflows?

I got my Magnaflow muffler and 4" slash cut tips installed today. All I can say is WOW this sounds good. It's extremely DEEP and BASSY as low rpm and cruising. When you get on it, it gives a nice scream. It's easily the deepest muffler I've EVER heard.

I give it

I honestly can't think of a complaint against this muffler.

I used to run a bullet muffler with no cat on my old LT1, that **** was loud and high pitched. This is totally opposite. When I downshift coming to a stop it just shakes everything with the bass resonance. It's incredibly sweet. And it still gets plenty loud when I go WOT.

I've got headers, 2.5" exhaust with a X pipe, and the 28" case Magnaflows on my 442. I like that setup alot, sets of car alarms all the time. Out of all my cars I like the exhaust sound of my T/A with the Hooker though.

Your right, what a differance over stock. I decided to gut the cat untill I get the headers and ORY pipe. It's like music to the ears. Can't wait to get it on the road in a month so I can see how it sounds crusin.

I love my magnaflow, a stainless catback for such a good price, and sounds amazing IMO.

I love how it is quiet at lower RPMs, cruising and such, then absolutely screams when you get into it.

How does your hooker sound in comparison to the Magnaflows? Hooker was going to be my second choice, but I got my Magnaflow muffler and tips for free from my best friend.

Yeah Valkyn, that's what I love. It's quiet and mellow when you want it to be, but when you step on it, it sounds really sweet. Of course this is coming from a guy who used to run straight pipes

The hookers have kind of a more of a tinny kind of rasp out the back of the car but it's not loud or overbearing in the car. The magnaflows with the x-pipe have a real bassy sound and is pretty quiet in the car due to the length of the mufflers. But the 442 has a 455 and 2 2.5" pipes all the way back and the T/A has a 346 with the single 3" into a crossflow muffler so it's kind of a apples to orges comparo there.
