Default Header Question

Okay, I have a 96 TA and live in Illinois who have regular emmisions testing. But, I want to run long tubes. I was wondering what other people do in situations like this because I really don't want to waste money on shorties. Thanks in advance.

I just bought some midlengths. I cannot get over the total PITA the passenger side is going to be to install.

depends how strict they are in your area. Some places don't allow longtubes because it changes the factory location of the cat(s). Other places just put your car on the sniffer and could care less about your setup as long as it passes. All depends on your local emissions testing.

Seeing that you are a 96, they are going to just plug into your PCM so if you have some rear 02 sims. and get the headers that keep the AIR and EGR functional, then you should be good to go.
