Looking for a good cam for a LT1 motor is all stock but i want a hard lope. Have hooker lts and cutout just want the cam sound and performance.

 

You don't go about selecting a cam because of the sound it makes for starters. With stock heads try the hotcam, CC503, CC305. If you want a cheap whole kit get the hotcam kit. If you want better quality and a little more power I will list the parts you should use.

 

you can just throw a ibg cam in a stock motor. Other changes must be made.

 

I wanted the same thing, and I was very pleased with the Hotcam, with 1.6 Roller Rockers. And the kit was cheap. $529.95, summitracing.com, part # NAL-12480002, comes with everything.
