ok, wtf is this shaking?
Are motor mounts a easy, driveway install? What about tranny mounts.
I should go with solids right?

I would not reccomend solids at all for various reasons, especially if you like having teeth in your head. Go with polyurethane; stronger than rubber and not too much more flexible than solid. You can find them on Summit part # PTP-7-508-BL for $39.

SHAKE
Yet when I do a straight 1-4 run, no shake at all.
Or when I do a regular doughnut, no shake.
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
My car has a busted mount right now and a few months ago when this started, I couldn't notice the shaking in straight line driving or even in hard donuts, only when I turned slowly and more stress was on the mounts. Eventually I got clutch chatter at takeoff, and my clutch let out higher and higher. Now I can feel the engine move all the time. When I am taking a slow, sharp turn from a stop my car feels like it wants to shake itself to death.
To test a motor mount do this:
drive at 2000 rpm in 4th gear then stomp it, watch the shifter for any movement more than .75 of an inch.
OR
Put it in first gear and pull up the ebrake, let the clutch out slowly and have some one watch the engine.
OR just do what ever you do to make it shake and have someone walk next to the car and watch the engine.
If the engine moves more than it should, then it's motor mounts.
I doubt this is a fuel, catallytic converter, or opti related problem since you can drive normally in every other gear.
I have 90 bucks TO MY NAME.
I will tell you what my, no car knowing self thought it was at first. I thought instead of the tires sliding around, they were skipping.. Could the fronts be over or under inflated and cause this? They look FINE on the outside.
dude, if you go WOT in reverse, your axle is going to hop up and down and shake everything. The rear control arms and the rest of the suspension are not made to provide traction in reverse, only forward.
I was out to get me some dinner, and seen a empty parking lot. * ITS ******* POURING OUT! * so I figured, " If it is the tires skipping, it wont do it on this wet pavement " so I went to do it again, and the same thing happend...
So how are you supposed to do a 180? Should I look into LCA's and a PH?
