Idle trouble.

Idle trouble. Car is a 97 LT1. Starting on Sat., my car started having trouble holding idle. While driving, a light will turn red, take it out of gear and and start braking, it dies completely. If I start it and it's sitting still then it'll hold a REAL choppy idle at about 600rpm's. Before this started, it would idle real high when the car was rolling, but would go down to about 1000rpm's when I came to a complete stop. Any ideas on which sensor is the culprit?
You do anything to the car recently? Fiddle with anything?
I ran in to something similar once. Had a 93 Z28 w/ 383 that wouldn't idle. No matter what I did ECM wise, it couldn't hold it. Everything looked OK on the scan tool. Looked OK under the hood... Until I pulled the throttle body off. Noticed that 1 wire on the IAC motor was very lightly broken, but the insulation was holding it in place. Whipped out the strippers and the soldering iron... Bam. Idled great.
