Default Madz28 or Pcmforless

So im ordering a chip in the next few days and i just had a couple of thoughts about it. I went to pcmforless.com and looked at there order sheet, and then compared it to madz28.com It seems that MAD has more options for tunable things, IE. Headers, Cats, Differential Gear Size and tire size. Im wondering if that is just extra stuff on the order sheet to make it look more appealing. Alvins sheet doesnt have some of the options that MAD does. Any input guys.

Tony.

based off my personal experience with both, I'll be going with MadZ28 for the next tune I need. He's slightly cheaper as well, iirc.

You can't go wrong with either. I am a happy Madz28 customer myself.

They are both awesome. ANd you will not being just filling out a form. I know with Alvin, he will work with you after the chip is in to continue working it till your happy, and I am almost Mad tune will too. They are most highly recommended by several forums.

I have a madz28 tune and love it! more power, firmer shifts, ect.ect.ect. I went with madz28 because his tuning seemed to have more options and from what ive heard from others tends to pull a little more power out of the tune. I have heard alot of good things about pcmforless as well and im sure you would probably be happy with either. My vote goes for madz28.

Well, I wouldn't be to worried about the order sheet. It really doesn't matter what tire size or gear ratio you have. You have a 93 and you can't correct for the speedo on a 93. You have to change the gears in the tranny. I personally have no experience with MadZ28, but I know Alvin can doing anything you want. He has very good customer service and will work with you till its right. If you don't like the order sheet, call him and talk to him or shoot him an email.

Though I have an EEPROM (94+) I have both and still use tunercat for setting my own shift points. Both tunes dynoed no more than 2 hp apart each pull of 3 pulls per tune. The #'s were 328-330rwhp on a hotcam, A4, Impala SS. Remember that these are mail order tunes, don't expect absolute perfection.

Ion, Alvin and Bryan are all good ppl and I'm sure they can square you away.

Oh, plus Ion had to fix my PCM. But I bought both just for the "why not" factor and threads like these.

well I have a pcm's tune and it runs nice but very rich.......I guess it's a safe tune.....all I can say is that I have a big cam that is streetable (23x 24x )with his tune...
but I'm sure I can make alot more power...with a better tuner on a dyno.....
Bryan did **** up my buddy's tune....pretty bad...though..
