I did have the spec-rite 2800 9-1/2" w/12" lock up clutch it was alot faster, shoot once you got on the gas it was no slowing down, but gas milage went down bad so i went with this one sense its my daily driver.

LS1 Eddie, you'll be a happy guy when they come in.

I went with the 190 full CNC package as well. I upgraded to the Ferrea valves and bronze liners. Hopefully I'll be picking mine up in about a week. Can't wait to see what kind of numbers you get. When do you expect to have it all together?

I took them down to my builder on saturday, already had the short block assembled and is waiting for the rest of the parts, heads, cam, chain, oil pump gear, lifters, ects, ects,
then i still have to port match the intake so i'm guessing around 2-4 weeks all depends when he get finished.
i'll keep you updated on my results when finished.

Are you port matching your own intake? AI's prices are steep and it seems like it could be done with a dremel, but I may be wrong. How are you going about it?

Think with port matching an intake is if you don't do at least a decent job of repeating what you have done you can cause imbalance in flow. IMO best to let the head guy do that work whomever you choose to do your heads.

My AI Heads arrived Monday and they look sweet. Ron and Phil did some beautiful work, if the car runs half as good as the heads look I will be a happy man.
I went with the 190CC 100% CNC'd Full Port StreetPro LT1 Cylinder Heads with Ferrea 6000s.
The bummer is my digital camera died!
