Post Alignment needed?

My car vibrates around high speeds like 60mph or higher. My steering wheel also vibrates and it is difficult to maintain the steering wheel straight(and the car) at highway speeds making it look like im somehow "drunk" or trying to swerve or something. Not to mention my car's rear is not how its supposed to be(the driver side is definitely higher than the passenger's, about 2-2.5 inches). Would it be a shock or something? The springs seem to be fine. Thanks.

Get it aligned. They should be able to tell you if something is broken, bent, etc. Of course, it could all be good and just out of alignment.

Put a tape measure to the rear and find out how difference there really is. I'm sure it is less than an inch. How do you know the springs are fine? did you measure their height? Have them tested to see if both are the same spring rate? Are they both installed correctly against the upper mounting pad?

Usually high speed vibrations can be traced down to wheel imbalance. Get your wheels balanced then go ahead and do the alignment. Assuming you have a f-body our rear angles are not adjustable. You can adjust everything in the front but you need a sst to adjust camber and caster.

OK I got it measured. The gap of the rear wheels are the only ones that are uneven. The driver side rear wheel gap is about 6 inches, lol. The passenger side rear wheel gap is about 3 inches. Not to mention that I had installed an axle professionally. And whats sst to adjust camber and caster? Thanks.

Would shocks have anything to do with it also?
