LT1 headlight question
LT1 headlight question hey, i have an LT1 trans am and when i turn my parking lights on the headlights still pop up like when i turn on all of the lights. i have seen numerous LT1 trans ams running with their running lights on and the headlights are not popped up. i was wondering if there was a way to make my headlights not pop up when i turn the running lights on. if it's something you have to tune out of the computer or something simpler.

I have two clicks on the headlight switch. The first click turns the fog lights on (when the fog light switch is on) and the second switch raises the headlights and turns them on. Should be the same for you as well.

my car just started doing the same thing. not only that but when i turn off my head lights the head light motor doesnt stop running for about 30 seconds. Ever since it started to do that my head lights come up when i turn on my fog lights. when i get around to changing the motor, ill let you know if there was a connection between the 2 problems.
yeah dave that's exactly what my car does but i dont know why it would make the lights pop up when the running lights are on. if anyone knows what the problem is please let me know.

everything you need, when I had a 97TA had the same issue, just flipped the gear, worked fine, but theres bronze gear option if you so choose, great how-to guide.

Yeah that link that brett posted is great, had the same problem with my headlights coming up when I turned my fog lights on, flipping the gear fixed it. It took me.. I don't know, 15 minutes? Maybe less. Very simple.
alright, i had seen that site before and was planning on doing it in the near future but i had no clue that it would make the headlights pop up like that. thanks for all the input guys.
