Default msd wires too big

what are the advantages for 8.5mm msd wires?i just ordered some an i know they wont fit the wire seperators.im trying to figure out if i should take em back.i got my msd coil too.i kept that its already on...what a difference

just overall less resistance and better insulation, i had a million problems with wires, burned too many sets, finally went with thunder's over the valve cover set. much much better, it uses taylor 8mm

The stock wire seperators are made to handle the 7mm stock. Youll figure out a way to route them.

Why don't you just buy wire separaters to fit your 8.5mm? I'm sure they wouldn't cost much.

i fit my MSD wires in the stock position. Yes it was a bitch and took time but they do fit with some patience and a lil TLC.

I used the MSD 8.5, the only problem I had was fitting them into the curved track underneath the alternator.. but they still worked fine.

I just replaced my wires 2 days ago and my 8.5mm MSD wires DO fit in the seperators. It's about a 2-hour job just to route them, but it definitely IS do-able.
