Yeah, an AWD car has to be launched correctly. You need to either dump that clutch at close to redline (if you're stock with the warranty, that's what I'd do) or slip it out, so you don't damage anything. They also have a much better shot from a dig with a good driver, that's why they run low e.t.s with low mph. I saw an article where an STi ran a 13.2 @ 103 and an LS1 ran a 13.8 @ 108. Mags can drive AWDs (its not their car, so why not dump it, eh?).

one thing I never believe is most of the times 1/4 mile and 0-60 that are posted in magazines. the numbers never seem to hold true to reality.

I've also noticed the same thing. I think its mostly due to the magazines have professional drivers driving them who know all about driving a car to its max potential.

Yeah. That also holds the same for our cars. But the funny thing is my car was rated at 14.1 in the 1/4 with a manual, I ran a 13.899 stock with an auto.

put one down a twisty narrow road or around a track in see how big the smile will be on your face! they are good cars but they are deffinatly not built for drag racing! lol

and if that doesn't make you smile, try and get a go in a full works WRC! hehe
