Stall Vigalnte 3200 would be fine, longtubes coated, hookers will do. Spray 125 shot & tune , tires and done! close to 370 rwhp and you'd love it! Cam=cc306 is not bad.

Those times were at LACR raceway, I also have some passes on my gtech with a best of 9.2 at 82mph, still a far cry from a sub 9. I also ran a 13.9 in the 1/4 at 101 and some change a while back before I got any of the suspension stuff or the heads and clutch, but that was with a once in a lifetime 2.1 60' time(but this was also in Orlando so very close to sea level).

What the hell am I doing wrong??? With the mods I should be in the mid 13's shouldn't I???

Sorry man not trying to steal your thread, I have no idea what would be a good cam for these cars...

get your 60' down and you will see better results.

With a stall, and a muffler on street tires I went 8.81 @ 79mph in the 1/8th.
that was with a 1.96 60'

I agree there, if I were to buya nother F-Car my first mods would be a catback and some weld-in SFCs.

geedub - If you're posting in a thread, there's never a need to make two posts back to back. Just go back and edit the original to insert any kind of information you want.

Weld in SFC = Weld in Sub Frame Connectors..

Will net you no power, they will make the car stiffer, and flex less. My driver door skin popped off to the door trim, along with a friend of mines car. He also has a pic of his car launching and looks like he has a firebird trunk, because the flex was so bad. That was the pass his door skin about came off.

Well wait a minute, nitrous is ok but do your bolt ons first as stated by some of the others. Cai, full exhaust and a tune will add some nice power. Besides you'll get more from the nitrous with the bolt ons done first. By the way nitrous can get very addictive, kinda like crack. And bottle refills get expensive after a while. Improve your NA power first so you won't have to depend on the bottle so much. Nitrous is great as long as you have a full bottle, you become a spectator when its empty.

I am already running the 160 thermostat, plus I have the hypertech programmer and have reprogrammed the fans to click on at 160 as well.

I just got some nitto drag radials, I'm gonna try that and see what happens, hopefully I won't spit my rearend all over the road. My cars a manual so the stall is not an option....

I already have weld in SFC, the tubular ones from BMR, they have done wonders for chassis rigidity.

I'm trying real hard to stay away from the laughing gas, but it is tempting...
