Default Delteq users. Anyone use a shift light with it?

If so, where is the shift light getting its input from(tach input/output)

You can do it two different ways: 1. white wire from the PCM (96/97) or 2. Tach output from the MSD DIS 4 ignition box with the coil inter-rupts ( I use this one ). If you want to see pics, do a search on my name (96silverram) or (95T/A the Beast (I'm not sure exactly how he spells it, but if you search DELTEQ you will find him)).

Your system looks great. The coil interrupts, can you just use those? Or do you have to have the DIS system with it? What advantages does this system do for the Delteq, besides timing retard?

You would still need the DIS 4. Advantages: 20 degrees of retard on start-up, timing retard for power adders, soft touch rev control (kills spark, not fuel), Tach output, two step for nitrous applications, etc. (I'm probably forgetting something). You can also select waste spark (DELTEQ) or CNP (coil near plug) (LTCC). Hope that helps, Mike

I used to have a DIS 4 with my Delteq and I ditched it. I am still using a shift light wired directly into the Delteq. I can't recall which wire I tapped into because my car is in the shop right now.

Yeah no problem. Just remind me. I have had it with this guy for a while so I'm not sure when I will see it again.
