Default voltage drop?

OK, so i just helped my buddy put in his feshly built 383 LT1 stroker, Hooker long tubes, and TSP x pipe. The car runs great when you first start it up, but when it warms up, it has a pretty bad voltage drop. It only sees like 10-11 volts (after having 14 or so on startup). We replaced the alternator, and the same thing happened. We had both alternators tested, and both came back good. It has a relatively mild cam (dont remember the specs, but it was a little more radical than the HOT cam), aforementioned exhaust, monster ported heads and intake, and reprogrammed computer. We checked all the grounds, and cleaned them up. Still happens. Anyone ever have this problem? seems like next step is picking through the wiring harness, and i definitely dont wanna do that. looking for advice. any help would be appreciated.

does he have underdrive pullys?

Yea if you changed out the pulleys you might need to get a smaller pulley for the alternator, that might fix it.

Other than that it might be sitting too close to the cylinder head and might be touching with would cause it to heat up and the resistance to go up also.

But not seeing it, I really cant tell you.

nope, good battery, stock pulleys. ill check to see how close it is to the head, thanks for the tip.
