The other end of the plate has an aluminum right angle bracket that allows me to mount to bolts through the bracket and bottom metal that is down by the HCM (headlight control module). Hope that helps

I'm using the interrupts for a couple of reasons. One, I wanted a clean connection to interrupt my tach signal from the Delteq system. Two, I did not want to cut the white wire from my PCM for a tach signal. Doing it this way made for a plug & play scenario.

Looks really nice, very clean install and one of the nicest engine bays I have seen. Was wondering where you got the other alumium pieces, like the relay box cover and the master cylinder covers?

So now that the Delteq is installed, what are your impressions? Does The car have more power, get better mileage, or is there anything else you have noticed?
Beautiful looking install. I have not done near the dress up to my engine bay that you have, but I have polished my stock brake calipers. This would compliment your engine bay and the color of the car nicely if you did this.

As far as driving impressions I have not done enough of that to give a good review, but I can tell you the moment I started the car it was night and day on idle difference. I have owned this car for 7 years and it has never had the idle quality it does now. Idles as smooth as glass and has excellent pedal response. RPM's really spin up nicely ! I would bet that the gas mileage would be slightly better just based on how clean of an idle the car has now ? I still have not changed the NGK plugs from almost 3 years ago. When I change the plugs it will probably run even better

Rare96WS6, I'm not sure I know what you mean by light weight spindles. I'm using a 2002 LS1 spindle that I had bead blasted and silver chrome powdercoated with the LS1 Wilwood 6 piston kit on my 96 WS6 LT1 front. The springs that are in that pic are the 300 lb HAL QA1's. Any more questions, just ask.

Yep, its a garage queen. Never seen snow or rain.... I'm probably gonna take it out this weekend after I figure out a place to setup my front lower a-arms with the correct suspension settings and get an alignment before I drive on the new front tires. I will try to get some driving impressions in the next few days.

Are they taller than the stock LT-1 covers? Notched to clear the alternator? Where can they be purchased?

Oh, I see. I thought your spindles were aftermarket since they were so shiney! Do you know what the stock spring rate is? I changed everything else up front except the springs. I wanted a stiffer ride, but did not want to add the weight the Eibacks do. Are the Hals a stiffer rate that stock?

Leadfoot4, LT4 composite valve covers are getting a little ridiculous to purchase at this time. I think the last time I saw some on E-bay they were in the 270 plus range, that was for a used pair. If you could find them new from a dealer that would give you gm cost I think I paid in the $140 range brand new. The polished pieces in the middle of the valve-covers unfortunately are no longer available from MBA. I paid 70 for the polished inserts and 50 for the buttons, I think ? So, total original cost for everything would have been in the $260 range. The LT4 composite covers also use a re-sealing O-ring gasket. The covers do not have to be notched (at least they did not on my car). Covers are slightly taller and will accomodate most any large body roller rocker and will also keep down the ticking that is common with needble bearing roller rockers .

If you still have the WS6 springs in your car you should have something in the neighborhood of a mid 500's progressive spring rate (I think ??). Mines a 96 WS6 and I'm pretty sure that is the stock spring rate. The HAL springs are definitely not the right move if you want to stiffen up the front. I would suggest a good linear rate spring in the same mid 500's to 600 even and a good set of Koni double adjustables if you really want the car to handle. JMO
