I have 104,600 on mine. Just had a complete tune up including the opti and distributor. Kicks and screams just like the day she was born.

im new to the lt1, what exactly is the opti. how much does it generally cost to replace? and around what mileage does it usually crap out? and what happens to the car when the opti does give out...

158k on mine...she loves spray and running at the track... car runs really strong it only leaks HP not burns it... (timing chain cover leak which is small)

Just rolled over 168,000 yesterday. Couple of very small oil leaks, exhaust manifold bolt broke in the head, and rebuilt tranny after 5th gear blew out. Still runs strong though and doesn't burn oil.
