Autocross or drag race?
Autocross or drag race? What is everyones opinion about the two. I kind of want to drag, but I kind of want to autocross. I have never tried either one so I dont know what they are like. I know more about autocross then I do dragracing. I also have zr1 wheel and bfg tires that are soft compound for autocross. So I will have to save up for some weld racing wheels, and some drag radials.
Try the drags on the AutX tires they can help a little, get a feel for which one you like more then focus more on that. Nothing says you can only do one, you can only optomize for one but if done carefully you wont hurt your performance at the other badly.

I love AutoXing and Road Course Racing and having a street car suited for that would be better for me because it would suit my driving style more and I'd have more fun with it on the street. Id also love to have a wicked 10 sec street Brawler but then the little scared import could just go hide from me in the corners. So I'm about to undertake a project to have a wicked Roadrace car that can still blast down the 1/4 mile track in about 10.5 seconds. Its gonna be hard but it will be well worth it when Im done.
