Does the le1 package make that kind of power(360+ rwhp) through and a4? If so, there shouldn't be any reason why his cars aren't running high to mid 11s. My full weight Z runs pretty consistent low 12s high 11s with a pretty old ARE heads/cam setup.

They are, but they seem to find their way to the message boards on a regular basis.
It's too bad really, Brett spends money on r/d and people spill his formulas out for free.

Whats your guys definition of streetable? I'm liking the Le3 kit but I don't know what you guys mean when you say it's not streetable? Does it stall out, have bad idle ( too the point where it's a pita to drive ) or does it just not pass emissions. An Le3 kit with a 100 shot should be able to do 10 second passes no problem and still be reliable right?

I will be going with the LE2 package myself. I just helped install one on a friends 95 Trans am with 50k on it. We finished it the day before we went to Ocean city. Drove it there 2hrs with no problems and cruised all weekend. It ran great!! We went to the track with it that following Wed night and it ran a 11.99 on comp t/as. Also its an m6 with crappy gears..

Did you happen to calculate the car's mpg? I wonder what the LE2 package would do to it gas mileage wise?

There are ways to tame wild cams for street cars, though they stir up quite the contreversy on here! Go to rhoadslifters.com . I'm going to give them a shot with an LE3 setup or something comparible to actually test the hearsay. Does anybody know if Lloyd Elliot will mess with aftermarket heads/intakes such as Trick Flow and Edelbrock?

Just get a set of used heads off the forums that can be polished and fixed up *going to be made brand new by Lloyd anyways* so you mind as well get those, then when you put the new heads on, sell the heads you have on your car now, or just save them.

I have a couple questions.

Alright, I have cast iron heads that came from my roadmaster engine that I am building up. Will Lloyd exept them or do I need to pay the core charge? And if I do need to pay the core charge how much will it be?

I'm looking at the LE1 package because of the cost. I want to make 400rwhp. Can I reach that goal with the LE1 package, all the bolt-on's and a really good tune(I'm going stand alone)?

Sorry for thread jacking

thanks

Edit: Also does his heads come with all new springs, valves, etc.
