Exactly what I was going to point out.

You can always tell people who street race regularly and track queens. The track guys always want a heads up race with some huge tire car on a solid roller cam that they just dragged off the trailer up the street but claimed to drive it out to the spot against some full weight, full interior fbody, launching on 17in rims...gimmie a break and get real.

If you want a fair race, go to the track. If you want to make money and see a decent race, go street racing.

Say you were told to bring an 11 second car and you brought your 11 second car, the other guy brought a 9 second car and claimed it was a 11 second car. I am sure after the first run or two you might be crying for lengths or something cuz you realize half way through . I bet you wouldn't be saying "What a ***** cause he had to ask for car lengths". One team clearly gets screwed almost every episode thats why they end up asking for crap. If the people that run the show actually verified the cars were near equal in performance the show would be so much better and the negotiations would not be so rediculous as the are sometimes. Its not NHRA and all cars arent equal they arent putting 2 cars with all the same mods up against each other.
My head is definitely in the right spot because for one, I never race on the street. I don't even race for money for that matter, I race for fun. I keep the racing where it actually belongs, where I don't have to worry about arrests, senseless injuries and death followed by jail time. So it's geat they at least do the show where it's legal. But I digress. If I showed up and ended up going against a car that was 2 seconds faster than mine because I was lied to, you know what I'd do? Contrary to what you think, I wouldn't ask for any car lengths. Instead I'd pack my **** and leave - with my car and my title safely in hand. And it don't make me a *****, it makes me a level-headed person. If some random ******* can't be straight up about what he's got and isn't man enough to beat me fair in square then he'd be the *****, not me. You make a valid point but I still stand behind mine.

Now thats what I wanted to hear. I dont race on the street either or even go to illegal street racing events. The show is what it is and if it was heads up or no race then there would probably be no show. Unless you have like a 7 second street car I dont think you can really say "I would do heads up or nothing" as it would probably be you asking for the lengths. I really felt bad for that good ole country boy from Texas with his Nova cause he got straight played, and the guys from Miller racing seemed to be just straight dicks. I am glad that the guy that owns Miller racing lost his car earlier in the season. If I was the guy with the Nova I definately would have gone to the host and said "You told us to bring a 10 second car, this guy has some B.S. story about this being his third car and brought a damn 8 second car. I'm out of here." That episode really showed that nice guys really do finish last. It sucks because they sign there titles away before they even get to see the other persons car and even if they did get to see the other persons car you cant really tell what a car is capable of running just by looking at it some cars are just sleepers and some are just turds.

Overall, I like Pinks - some particular shows do suck, but that's to be expected. I really don't mind the host, the negotiating, or the BSing. I've seen far worse on the street. I've stood out all night in the cold listening to some pretty cocky bastages try to BS each other for some race that never happens. At least if you watch the show, the BS is limited and there's always racing.

Personally, I don't blame someone for fudging on their car's numbers. When I used to street race, I wouldn't tell anyone my real setup, even for a $20.00 run. IMO expecting honesty in street racing (or on PINKS) is pretty naive - and a sure way to loose. Always bring more that you admit and expect everyone else is doing the same. That's just the nature of the beast...

that episode is going to be reviewed and show that the Miller team was BSing and overall "cheating". They up the shot when they said they needed to look over everything. They also had to have had more to the nitrous system than what they were showing. also was it just me or did they have a blanket HIDING the bottle when they went to check the cars out? I think it will end up a learning tool for the producers of pinks.

dam i want to go on that show becuz i just want to clock that queer host

**** doesnt even know a turbo from a sc let alone how an engine works
stupid anger management
that bastard just aggrevates me
The bald headed queer host is the guy who started the show, it was his idea and his production. So without him there is no PINKS.

Where did u hear that? Are you serious or is this just your opinion on what they should do. I think they definately should review it and give the guy his Nova back. But I doubt they would review the episode and overturn or do anything about it.

I have been street racing for a long time. I hit the streets in 1995 with a 89 Iroc-z on bottle. Yes, It is alittle like street racing but with very high stakes. I can usually size up a car on the street before I race it but I would not put my title on it.

What I don't like is they say bring a 11 sec and they bring a 9 sec car. It is street racing with bs rules they don't enforce. I agree if its gonna be heads up racing run what you brung then don't set a time. You bring what ever you think will win someone elses car 7 sec turbo stang or a 6 sec pro mod. They need to set guidelines!! or the show won't last.

I didnt understand where they came up with "These are both $70k cars"

Lets say that Z had 30k in the engine, and another 10k in suspension, thats nowhere near $70k.
