A bolt on LT1 can break into the high 11's without nitrous... im runnin a 12.6 @ 109 with a 1.8 60' now with a t-56 and that was with a broken eaton locker (one wheel wonder) ...and without my 4.10's, 1.6rr, csr waterpump, flywheel, subframes, relocation brackets for the lower control arms, bilstein shocks, and eibach springs.. im sure i put more on but cant remember... A 109 trap speed is capable of a 12.3 in the quarter (possibly lower) and a 109 trap speed is around 310-320 at the rear wheels.... its not much, but with the right suspension, all of that power is going to the ground...

Basically, in my experience, it all comes down to putting your power to the ground... get a good 12 bolt, 4.10's (manual) or 3.73's (Auto), get some good slicks, lower control arms, reloc brackets, torque arm, panhard rod, subframes, etc and make sure you can hook before throwing on all these bolt on parts that will only break your tires loose much easier than before... If you want to go fast, you need to hook... ie. suspension... the end
