i just wasnt sure what to expect and when i was hitting 15's i was getting pissed then finally hit that 14.7. I wasnt really lookin at the 60 ft until the final runs, but once i get those tires i should be good to go

with 6000' DA, and no track prep, my bone stock A4 ran high 14s....it ran a 15.30 once, due to the driver....don't let your g/f drive your car unless she knows what she is doing. Full throttle means FULL throttle.

Hey guys i have the opportunity to trade my stock gears for 4.10's
I am definitely thinking about doing this deal, how much worse is the gas mileage, and how much more will these gears help me, I am really concerned about breaking the rear end, let me know what you guys think thanks!

M6 it is nice. I had them in my 96 LT1. If you have an A4 it should do well with 3.73s.
Gas mileage, ah who cares about that ****...
It will go down a few mpg.

I will be in then. I will be lauching right around 1500 rpm, the car leaves good there with just a little spin, anything more than that and the tires smoke away. So with 20 psi in the rears and 40 psi in the front. I should be good to go.

Thats' what my 95 Z28 A4 2.73 car ran first time at the track stock 14.25 with a 2.08 60ft.
I did all the free mods and cam back a year later 14.22 so free mod sare worth diddly squat.
I put some 3.42's in and shorty headers and ran 13.89
I don't mean to sound elitest but this LS1 just ran 13.36 with a TCI3000 and I shut down a surpercharged 94 T/A.
The LS1 is so easy to get in the 12's once I get my LT's on there I'll be knocking on the door of the 12's. I may not bother with the 3.73's
I think my LT1 sounded better as I have a cutout on it and it was the best car I've had until now!
