Default Best stroker kit...?...What should I upgrade??..NEED HELP!!

Sometime soon I'm wanting to get a 383 stroker kit for my LT1. I'm wanting to know the best kit..and a good cam. It will be for mostly street but I still want a decent lope. And also what else will need to be upgraded...like heads...intake...exhaust...injectors.....etc.. Also...right now I have 2.73's...I'm wanting something lower...I'm thinking either 3.42's...or 3.73's....??? Thanks guys

I have 3.73, they are a good gear, pulls real strong after 40 mph. If you want a lopey cam, get one that is 112 LSA. That is real lopey, and still streetable.

I have used Speedomotive a few times with excellent results. As with any place, get a written quote (fax, email or letter) of what they are selling you before you pay. I have seen from too many vendors an inability to remember exactly what was verbally agreed to.

They sell a lot of stroker kits and their prices are pretty good.

Victory Racing in Michigan seems to be building a solid rep. Speaking with Nick and Erick, they do seem to know their stuff and are great to deal with. My 383 shortblock from them should be coming this week

I know someone who bought one of their 383 two piece main stroker kits and it needed to be rebalanced after they supposedly balanced it.
