supporting mods for a cam are, headers, generally LT's, better cat back then slowmaster, ill be switching mine soon. CAI, valve springs, usually lifters, rockers, check your pushrods, there are several cams u can go with that u can drive daily and still have good street manners, CC305, CC503

ok i was having some noise issues and went to race my buddy with an 11sec camaro (he kicked my ***) but on the way i notice things dont really seem riight, when we line up at a light and go i cant even do a burnout the clutch wolnt grab so i went to the local speed shop and i need a new clutch, which i kinda knew, i think it was pretty much f-ed b/4 i bought it last november. but i got to talking with the guy at the speed shop and told him i wanted 11's and he told me he thought we could do it for about 5000-6000, he said about 1000 of that will be on suspension i thought u dont need suspension until ur in like the 10's or lower any comments? what does it really cost to get into 11's from stock?

a drag car will benefit from suspension mods from the begining.
If you don't hook it doesn't mater how much power you are making.

When my 94 was just a H/C car it had a road race style setup...at the strip and on a 150 shot I could not get out of the 12's...best was a 12.1@120...avg 60' was 1.9-2.0 on ET Streets

Exactly, you can have all the power in the world, you just have to get it to the ground. I have an Eibach Pro Kit, and it it nice for the flats, and the corners.

The pro-kit was one of the items that were destroying my 60's.
Lowering springs reduce the amount of front to rear transfer, just as they help reduce right to left roll.

You have to decide if you want excellent cornering or straight line.
If you try to do both you will sacrifice a little on both sides.
