Canton Oil pan leak?
Canton Oil pan leak? Got a small little issue with my Canton LT1 oil pan. It leaks oil out of the little plug just above the oil drain plug. I tighten it and still leaks, so I put some tephlon thread sealant on it and it seemed to have slowed the leak but the leak is still there. Any suggestion?
Had the same problem with a Canton pan. I fought it forever. I bought a Fumoto drain valve and use a ton of teflon tape, problem solved. I shouldn't ever have to remove it ever again.
for my leaks on the oil pan like for my oil level sensor and drain plug, i use to use liquid teflon made by GM... good stuff, but i use grey RTV on them and dont have any problems...
