Default Need some opinions...

Well in the near future and after a whole lot of thinking I'll be back in an LT1 (my car sold I deliver it this weekend to its new owner...). First or 2nd mod is going to be LTs. Now, I know that Kooks now makes headers for the car, in addition to the slew of others. The question at hand here is, worth it? I like buying top quality parts for my cars, just how I am. On my old car I had jet-hots and there was a problem with the EGR which caused some headaches and needless delays (Chris@Jet-Hot worked with me and got it all straightened out eventually). I hear awesome things about the Pacesetter coated LTs, and the price really interests me. As for kooks, besides being over double the price, they are stainless (big plus, as I'm in NJ and winter here is less than kind thanks to the damned salt licks on the road), and I hear they have the best ground clearance, best plug access, and easiest install (which in my opinion is very subjective, since on my friend's LT install on his old LT1 it was about as easy as performing brain surgery on yourself... and even that was close). Obviously, cost not being an issue I would imagine kooks hands down... but cost being only a small issue, and taking the other factors into heavy consideration, what's your opinion? I searched and found some stuff, not a whole lot... preferably people who have had experience installing/looking at/etc., their opinion would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.

I have heard the Kooks are good. I am going with the Pace Setter Coated LT's, cause of the cost, and I haven't seen that many issues with fitment. Any Stainless Steel would be the best, but coated will do the job. I am from NY orginally, I wouldn't really drive my Z28 in the snow, but I guess if that's all you got, then you have to. Any Header on a LT1 is going to have barely any Spark Plug room, that is one of the joys of owning a V8 car with the motor crammed in it. Try changing them on an older Cadillac that is FWD V8, that is my other car.
