I powershift with only my palm and index & middle finger and I'm faster than anyone I know at it, sans my friend who has been racing since he was about 14. Pay more attention next time you powershift and you'll realize that you need to be more concerned with how quickly you work the clutch, moreso than how hard you can slam the shifter into gear.

Actually speed shifting is different than power shifting. As we all know power shifting is when You hold the gas pedal to the floor without letting off while shifting. Speed shifting is when You only let off the gas for that split second that the clutch is disengaged and You're shifting into the next gear then hammer on it as fast as You can. Pretty much just normal shifting but really really fast.

Powershifting is when you jab the clutch and keep it wot the whole time
Speed shifting is when you jab the clutch and go to like 50% throttle
