I ran a '01 TA/WS6 this morning. Nice looking ride, I'm sure it's well taken care of and in good tune. I'm wearing a fresh set of BFGDR's. I've recently discovered that, due to a very slight and short duration bog, I can dump the go pedal from a standing start with very little wheel spin. From there, they just dig in and go. I had about 7 lengths on this guy when I was looking at second gear. This guy was impressed but then kinda pissed when I told him it was an automatic.

HUH. Just wait until I do some REAL horsepower upgrades.

One for the LT1 daily driver!

No mods to the automatic?

DR's IMO would make a huge difference in all v8 f-bodys compared to regular street tires and right now not even romping the gas in my 97 I spin tire like crazy.

BTW, I couldn't be happier with the drag radials. I do wish I could squeeze them into the Monte tho...

Congradulations, enjoy the victory while you can. Im sure some ls1 joker will come in the thread and start protesting because ls based vehicles can never loose a race.

thats right.....one day you'll understand the lt1 belongs back in 1992 ls1 cars are, and always will be better.

used to do that in my 95 m6 z28. i would jump the ls1 car out of the hole by 3 cars and hold my land. no pull or anything.

I got Goodyear Eagle GT II's and I can spin them very easily. Im buying G-Forces next.
