Default How much hp???

Ok guys, im not too familiar w/the LT1. My friend is looking @ getting a 1996 Z28 M6. I was wondering if you guys could tell me approx how much hp it would have from the following mods, and about what it would run in the 1/4?

Following mods are(some might be mispelled )
LT4 hotcam kit, Borla exhaust w/elec cutouts, bbk mid length headers, k&n cold air intake kit, Grantelli lca's with relocation brackets, Hurst short throw shifter, Centerforce clutch

I was wondering what it would be, and what it might run approx without a tune(since it is currently untuned), and what it might be, and what it could run w/a tune?

If you get a tune and some slicks and a good driver, high 11's. A friend of mine has an almost identical setup, but only ran an 11.93 once on slicks, other than that he is consistant low 12's.

This car is lowered but I dont know how much and it isnt a lot. Car is stock weight, stock motor just w/the LT4 cam and other mods mentioned above, stock gears etc... Mods that are listed are the only mods on the car, and the car is currently untuned. Thats why I was wondering what it would be tuned and untuned. Are you sure low 12's high 11's with the LT4 cam that I mentioned?

Tuned with a good launch I say high to mid 12's unless you take alot of weight out of it.

I don't think high 11s/low 12s...Its real hard to guess 1/4 mile times as ET is strongly affected by traction...I think a hot cammed car ( kit with 1.6s, etc.) with the supporting bolt ons, headers, exhaust, the basic suspension bolt ons and sticky tires you could see high 12s with the stock weight...Imho it would take sick weight reduction, a dialed in suspension, perfect prepped track, etc to hit high 11s with a Hot cam only...

I'd like to see the mph of the above mentioned Hot cammed 11 second ride...

Unless you're running in -DA theres not too many in the 12's at full weight. If you can get 1.60 60' time then maybe you'd see those times. Most are more like 1.95 60' though.

12s arent as easy as people think. And the hotcam is a very small cam in comparisant to others.

I have the Hotcam with the 1.6's in it, and I am installing LT's soon. I hope to hit mid to high 12's, but I also have gears, shift kit, and a few other tweaks. I also have a light car, so I have a little bit of an edge, but 11's would be wicked fast for a stock LT1 with just a Cam.
