I had a buddy a few years ago that had an 01 TA with a nice stall, A4 bolt ons, and a cam. It only dynod like 315to the wheels. That sucker would flat out MOVE though. Hit 11's @ around 117mph. Like I said.....dont stress too much over dyno numbers.
Could not have said it any better...Stop worrying about dyno #'s so much...If it runs good at the track (pulls a descent trap; in your case, 101-103ish at the most), I'd be more than happy with that size stall (which is a bit underrated FYI ) in a bolt-on only automatic LT1. Besides, that thing should easily run low 13's with a good hook up out of the whole...Maybe even a 12.9 on the right tire...

Before the LTs it ran 8.5@80 on a 2.0 on Kuhmos With drag radials I'm sure it could crack some 12s, once the tune is in and I get some DRs we'll find out.

it not that bad

dyno 267
stall robbing about 5-10 rwhp
a4 robbing about 10 rwhp vs m6
stock tune about 10 rwhp

so if you were a m6 you would dyno 290 ish

hey bizz man im in the same boat as you but my numbers suck even more 309/363 at the wheels . and thats after my heads and crane 227 cam with tuning. so u dont even have heads and a cam and u have only 7 hp less than me . im really starting to think its the shortys that are holding me back since every1 with some decent dyno #s for what they have always have longtubes. plus a bigger cam would definitely improve my #s but im convinced that these damn headers are killing me.

only the track can tell im dying to go asap.

Don't get too fixated on dyno #s. Mine only made 271 but still ran 13.0s full weight. My current numbers are in my sig. Ported stock heads and a relatively small cam.

I'll jump on the bandwagon also...Dynos are great tuning tools, but that's it...It doesn't matter what your numbers are as long as your tuning is good...I posted my dyno numbers on another forum last year and was told that I had a problem, something was really wrong, etc, etc...Then posted track times and I was some sort of hero....hahaha...Put on some 255 50 R16 M/T radials and become a "hero"...Good luck to you...
