I also must disagree. Stock suspention works well

Last time to the track with our 3,800Lbs 6.6L LT4 we were YANKING the front tires on M/T Drag Radials(275-40/17s) and a 4,000 stall with nothing more the a set of lower control arms! Stock TQ arm and all

Someone, I believe it was Injuneer say he's seen plenty of Fbodies in the 10's w/ stock Tq arms.

I realize my suspension is different but mine is stiff shocks stock soft springs with aftermarket LCAs and AirLifts added more for cargo capacity. Some b-bodies going about as fast as I are able to lift a tire usually with lightening and drag shocks, my car goes FORWARD, doesn't look as cool but works damn well. There certainly are some things people worry about too much for drag racing, suspension can need work but I think people often go too far with it.

i hate to be a dick, but if you are going to call someone out and say they are wrong, then you better have your **** strait.

He was saying if you dont have suspension (to help traction) or slicks/drag radials (LIKE YOU) then a stall will make your times worse because you will jsut spin...

sorry to be a dick, but people CANNOT FREAKIN READ... and you should definitly know how to read if you are on a damn forum (if you can't read, then dont write).

r u kidding me.

I quoted the guy that said " a stall will WORSEN our time if you dont have suspension or slicks"

soooo what i posted was exactly a reponse that was prooving him wrong on a stall with stock suspension.

He didnt say suspend AND tires, he said OR.

Now there was no reason for you to get your panties in a wad. And yes i know how to drive very well on both 6spd and auto's. But i prefer the auto cause its faster down the track and i prefer stalls, than 6spds.

o and i think i read it very clear seems as if you misread what he said

Dude, it's late June. Get to the track and run the car if you want to find out what E/Ts you'll be running. I hate these threads...

Ya if you really want to know, go to the track. The driver is the largest variable in track times anyways.
