Steam vent tube seals.

Has anyone tried using copper washer instead of the stock seals for the steam vent tube. I’m having a hard time getting new ones because they’re out of stock at the dealer.

the plugs that I ordered came with O-rings, They told me that teh serals/gaskets arent used any more, only the o-ring. I dont like how they sit with just the oring.
