Default New motor + nitrous

How long should I wait b4 I spray nitrous on my new motor. I have about 550 miles on already

after the engine is broken in maybe 100-500 miles of getting on it and then i would say spray it

3-10 thousand miles would be my guess, Im not any type of engine builder though.

My friend who races sprayed his the same day he got in in the car!! Got it in Saturday morning and was racing at the track Saturday night lol.

id say give it about a thousand and 2 oil changes...

10k that would take years for some of us



like others have said give it a couple hundred miles, change the oil and then drive it like you intended to. you do see supercharged or turbo cars waiting 10k till they go under boost.

Yeah i don't want to wait for the car to become a "classic car" for me to spray . Especially sice it took me 2 months for 500 miles. I was thinking along the lines 1000 miles for break in and give it another 200 miles after that.

Id say 500 then 100 hard miles then I bazillion Sprayed miles.

i daily drive my car so it diffrent i can put 3k on in 2 months no problem. I forget that some of you guys have dd's and some are just weekend worriors.

1000 miles and check the plugs to make sure they are good and running clean...if they are...spray away...
