Default wiring a electric water pump?

so when wiring this thing is it just a reg. 12v system or do i need relays n stuff??

They draw enough amperage that you do need to use a relay.

Use a relay.. simple to do with the WP too....

6-8A draw, and you want it to come on and shut off automatically.
Use a standard 12V automotive relay and use your fan circuit as a trigger.

Summit sells a relay kit specifically for electric water pumps. It is like 30 bucks.

Well I dont understand relays so I would run the orange wire form the fise box (fans) into the relay and then what? have it come out the other side of the relay and continue wherever it was going before?
