What can i expect horsepower and torque wise with these mods
Putting a 95 LT1 into my 1988 3/4 ton 4x4.
Heddman 1 5/8 shorties
hypertech Power programmer
GM Hot cam kit with roller rockers(218/228)
Ported stock heads (248 cfm intake)
adjustable regulator set to what ever makes the most power.(36psi?)
Im looking for figures at the crank, as this is a 4x4 and rwhp from a fbody doesnt really apply.
Thanks alot.

at the fly...I would say around 360-370ish if the LT1s in good shape. Maybe a little more...but why not go for 1 3/4? And I suggest long tubes if its feasible...better performance. Screw the HPP and have your ECM/PCM tuned...its prolly cheaper than the HPP and better gains from it.

Well the shorties came with the motor.
I have the stock computer and harness.
Ive been told by a few people that this cam is too big for a 4x4 truck application. sure it makes decent hp but the torque kinda sucks. im using engine analyzer 3.0 (dyno simulation software) which also shows crappy torque down low. im thinking a small cam with big lift, or bigger rockers. what do you guys think?
