Default a/c differences between lt1 and ls1

are there any differences at all between my '97 z28's a/c components, and say a '98 z28 a/c??? i used to have a '98 and the a/c seemed to get much colder FASTER, and blow MUCH harder, so i was wondering if there were any differences between the two, and if so what are they? and also what should i do to get my a/c to get colder/blow harder faster??

Thanks,

Nathan

As for how hard it blows that all has to do wiht the blower motor. The same blower that works on your heat.

There is no real difference between A/C systems just better and more up to date components..... Both have a FixedOrficeTube system but the 97 has a different style compressor then the 98'. The only reason that the A/C blows colder in your 98' is due to the fact that it is a newer system. At the end if both systems are up to date they will still blow 40 degree at max cold. Just that more people wanted it top get colder faster. Most GM techs will tell u a lot of people complained about that hot air blowing for too long when u turn on the A/C.
