From my research Yank seems to be the most preffered but it comes at a cost. Fuddle seems to be the most bang for the buck at the moment. From what Ive read I wouldnt go TCI and I for sure wouldnt go BM but that doesnt make them bad just my opinion from the tons of searches and research Ive done.

I know lots of people that have fuddle. They are good quality too.

I have a Neal Chance 3500 'verter in mine and with minor bolt-ons etc, my stall makes the car. No cam, hooker shorty's, duals w/dumps, CAI but other intake changes. On DR's it's very quick from a dig for what it is. The TC tends to make things get hot quick though.

i'd go with lt's and ory, save you some money on gas in the mean time while you save for the stall. but the stall sure is fun

I put a Vigi 3200 in mine, you could tell a difference for the better, that car pulled really hard after that even with the stock manifolds. Around town regular driving it felt like a normal LT1 till you got on it and it screamed. Stall is an awesome mod for an auto car

I'd go with a converter first...I have had a Vig in my car since 1996 and it was without a doubt the best single mod I did...I've never seen .6 reduction with LTs and an ORY...thats not to say it doesn't happen, I just have never seen that huge a reduction...

The converter will soften the shifts a bit, so most also spring for a shift kit while they have the trans out for the converter install. Its also a good time to build the trans while you are there if you have high mileage, any slippage, etc..Itd be a shame to run crappy burnt fluid and clutch material thru your new converter...just my .02...I have also heard good stuff about Fuddle, but they weren't around when I got mine...

Then start saving for Kooks LTs and ORY.....

In terms of long tubes it will wake up the car since the manifolds are proven to be very restrictive. Ask anyone here who went to long tube and see if there is a difference.

My "Stock car" down to the filter. I put a 4000K stall in mine it went from 14.2s to 13.6's, and felt great. Gained no MPH at all though

Long tubes and a CAI was running 12.9's {EDIT} forgot gears lol 3.42's

what are you running?

45x rwhp is not that impressive considering some of the cars on this forum.

A lot of people are responding to your comments because they make no sense.

Talking smack about that would just make you look dumber.

And just because you are faster does not mean you know more. Hell I could pay a shop $20,000 to make my car fast.

Just remember, power isn't everything, it's how it's put to the black-top. You could still get your $hit handed back to you on a platter by some redneck cutting 1.3's in his 400 hp Nova. Sounds like a cool project though. I don't see how you doing a turbo project automatically instigates you have more knowledge than anyone else in this thread?

1SLO6...This place is supposed to be a fun place to gain knowledge and help each other out...I know I've beaten quite a few cars with much higher rwhp than I have..Dyno numbers alone are not very impressive to me...I've seen how easy it is to manipulate numbers on a dyno...We don't all have to agree here...everyone's got an opinion...

I would go with LT/ORY/cutout since you already have a catback.

A stall would be nice (my next mod) but from what I've seen on street tires it turns into a smoke machine. Another good reason to wait on a stall is if you plan to put a cam in your car so you can pick out a stall that matches it.
