Default need nitrous and cam help

i was just wondering which is a really good nitrous kit for LT-1 cars and what size shot is pretty safe to go with???

i was going for a h/c package but ran into money issues. i was always against nitrous, so i don't know that much about it. my plans have changed to just put a cam in with the proper valvetrain and spray it. any suggestions on a cam would also be appreciated. thanks

Can't go wrong with the most popular name in nitrous: NOS. I think you would need PN 05151NOS. It's adjustable up to 150 hp. Some say 125 would be better on stock shortblock but I know guys spraying 150 on stock shortblock. Cams are very gray area, but something probably in the low 230's on duration and 114 lsa. 230's might be wild for stock engine/heads so it's user preference. Stick with 114 or wider on lsa.

Of course any cam you choose, the nitrous is gonna show a gain. Some cams are better than others due to the valve events.
