Default Injectors - what size, brand and where? and input on issue

Im thinking about upgrading my injectors on my camaro (see sig for mods)

what brand, size, and where should i get them?

stock injectors have done fine in my vehicle but im having some issues with my car at the moment and thats one of the few stock things left on my car to replace so i might as well throw some more parts at it.

Also if anyone can shed some light on my problem id appreciate it.

Fixed car in april hooked up a nitrous wet kit again.

car started lacking power when i sprayed. friends car with a 150 hit usually got pulled on by me. now he was pulling doing nothing to his car.

replaced plugs with NGK tr55

still same issue replaced them with NGK tr6 and MSD 8.5 50ohm wires.

felt better on motor but same on nitrous.

then the car started to fall off BAD.

Replaced opti with another one that had 62 k miles on it (one i took off had 110k and been through 2 cam swaps)

same damn problem so i replaced the wires with some chzy duralast ones and new tr6 plugs

same damn problem

so now i am thinking 1. fuel problem or 2. bad luck with other opti

replace the stock fuel pump with a walbro 255. See a increase in fuel pressure but same problem still.

So ive ordered a MSD cap and rotor and im crossing my fingures thats it but i still have a feeling its fuel related.

The break up does not happen initailly. I can get on it after i start it and it runs like a champ then it starts breaking up at high rpms 4k. any stressfull acceleration causes it to hesitate like a misfire.

Anyone that can shed light on my issue i thank ya!

Wow atleast you narrowed it down....at first it sounded like your fuel pump, lol but obviously not...still sounds fuel related...ever check your fuel lines heh....thats IMO though....let us know what happens soon!

I highly recommend FORD SVO injectors. I would say 30lbs would work really good.

also... most i have heard from as well say there coil or ICM... makes a high RPM break up when they get hot... so you might want to try that first and see what happens...
but i agree with buff, the SVO are great injectors and the 30lbs will work well with your setup..

i replaced the coil about 2 months ago. ICM? ignition control module? is that the thing above the coil? should i replace that? would that throw a code if it was having issues?

is there a voltage i should test or ohms?

there really is no test for it.... but yea, thats it right above the coil... you can get one for around 100 bux... like i said some people have said it causes trouble only when it gets hot... so that may be the case... i dont think i have ever found a test for it though...
