Default Rear Gear sets

I was just on the richmond website and found that they make a 3.73 gear set that work on a 2 series carrier. Has anyone used these and would there be any big difference between the the 3 series set and the 2 series set. Oh to add I have a 95 A4 formula if thats needed thx for all help.

Only difference I can think of is the 2-series ring gear will be thicker.

What did you pay for your 12 Bolt? LOL Im not saying you are wrong, but its easier said than done to just go get a 12 Bolt instead of gears. That being said, cross your fingers for me with my 7.5

Just make sure you order the gears for your carrier series. I just put 4.10s in my series 2. Went from 2.73's to 4.10s. Now it can barely hold it together in 1st and man does it ever bark second.

the 12 bolt decition depends on what you do with the car, a properly built 10 bolt will save you weight and can hold up to street driving and anything but 5000k rpm drag slick launches.
