Default Little hesitation...I smell a problem afoot!

Well, I just got my bird back from the shop the other day, bloody rear main sunk me $1,150...oh welll....shortly there after I'm getting a little hesitation from my car, at about....oh 2k rpms, very modist however, but its there if I'm consintrating on it, my biggest concern (as of every lt1 owner) is I'm thinking my opti is shitting out (big surprise huh?).

Someone please shun me, call me an idiot by proving to me other possible reasons why im getting hesitation at 2k, so I can both feel bad for feeling like an idiot, but feel good that my opti is fine..........(for now, until it's soon death).

My car's got 64kmiles (but ive head them optis crapping out at 55k... )

thanks

There could be alot of things causing the hesitation. Bad plugs/wires as well as the opti. Is the miss noticable when accelerating hard, or at cruse? Oh BTW my stock opti went out at 65000.

I had the exact same problem with mine not to long ago between 2k and 2.5 rpms. I changed the plugs and wires and it didn't help any. I took it to the shop and they said the opti was bad so its a good chance thats what it is. Cost me $600 for opti and labor. Mine hesitated during acceleration and lasted for a couple seconds then the power finally kicked in.
