CC306 & springs question ---->
CC306 & springs question ----> Ok, I have a question about what kind of valvesprings to use with the CC306
Can I use the LT4 locks/retainers/roller rockers but update the springs to these :
CCA-941-16 COMP Cams Valve Springs
Valve Springs, Single, 1.260 in. Outside Diameter, 447 lbs./ in. Rate, 1.130 in. Coil Bind Height

Basically I'd be using the LT4 hot cam kit, without the cam, and without the LT4 springs. Just putting in a cc306 cam, with upgraded springs listed above.

I have a barely used set of 977 springs and new cups that I was going to use on a different set of stock heads. They fit but you have to grind out a little in each pocket (not difficult at all) PM me if you want these I will work out a deal for you.
i bought crane 10308 springs...they were reccomended to me they are a double spring available from jegs simple to install and ive run then 10k daily drive miles no problems and i pull my car to 7000...i use 7/16 studs, comp cams 1.6rr nsa with gm guideplates
